| We are a body of confessional
Lutheran Christians committed to serving our community on behalf
of Christ's Name;
By bringing to people the love of God in Christ Jesus.
By active pursuit of the lost.
By equipping Christians for service in Christ's
Kingdom.
By growing ourselves, our children and each other in
God's grace and truth.
By acknowledging with our lives and worship the
primacy of the Triune God in our life.
By total submission to the truth of God in Scripture.
It is the will of God that the church should reach out
with the Gospel.
Making disciples is the mission of the church.
All other tasks and efforts of the church should
support and assist in carrying out these tasks.
The Holy Spirit accomplishes this work both within and
without the congregation through the Gospel in Word and Sacraments.
The ministry of sharing and caring is the privilege
and responsibility of all Christians.
The Bible is the Word of God and the only infallible
authority in matters of faith and life.
It is our objective with the help of the Holy Spirit to:
Involve all members in the life and ministry of the
congregation according to their needs and abilities.
Assist new members in developing meaningful
relationships which lead to active involvement in the congregation and its ministry.
Encourage all fellowship groups to devote themselves
to prayer.
Provide spiritual, emotional and social support for
members through group ministries that identify and meet their various needs.
Enhance fellowship by providing opportunities which
promote social interaction and relationships.
It is our objective with the help of the Holy Spirit to:
Provide worship experiences which focus on growth in
the Word, celebration and praise; which are meaningful to all age levels;
and which represent the best expression of the Lutheran worship tradition.
Provide Bible study opportunities as part of a
comprehensive curriculum at times and places which meet the spiritual growth needs of
all current and prospective members.
Help those charged with carrying out the ministry
programs of the congregation communicate and model that the call to faith
includes a personal call to discipleship as the
Christian lifestyle.
Maintain programs of education, counseling and support
which enable families to function as the principle means for discipleship in
the congregation.
It is our objective with the help of the Holy Spirit to:
Increase the commitment of the people of our
congregation to the fulfillment of Christ's Great Commission.
Develop a greater awareness in our community of who we
are and what we stand for.
Reach out with the Gospel to those in our community
who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
Become more actively involved in outreach beyond our
community.
