The meetings are scheduled to be divided
into three parts:
1. Core Pioneer skills training
2. Non core training, for example, how a computer works or a
science demonstration.
3. Projects and / or games
The 7th and 8th graders will meet on a
different day of the month for their activities. Please watch the
calendars, especially the master calendar
on the St. John's website for the most up
to date information.
The Boy Pioneers (1st through 8th grades) are looking for help
from the congregation in the following manner:
We need more leaders. Currently there are
5 leaders for 8 grade levels.
Teach 1 subject, or more if you are
willing.
Topics may include, but are not limited to;
Compass training
Flag etiquette
Fire safety
Christian Leadership and Citizenship
Water safety
Knot tying and their uses for various knots
Bicycle Safety and Maintenance
Mapping and Measuring
Pinewood Derby
Do you have a hobby, or skill, that you
would like to share with the boys?
Could you plan or organize an event?
You can volunteer as an individual or a
committee for any of these
