Preparatory School (LPS)
A four year preparatory high school, LPS is
owned and operated by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
Its primary purpose is to train and encourage young people for the
pastoral and teaching ministry in the WELS. In carrying out
that purpose, LPS offers a curriculum that focuses on history,
mathematics, science, English, foreign languages, music, and
religion. LPS also offers a wide variety of co-curricular

Michigan Lutheran Seminary (MLS) is a
four-year high school owned and operated by the Wisconsin
Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). It is one of four schools
which the synod maintains as part of its ministerial education
system. MLS is a college preparatory school which gives its
students a solid foundation for future work in college.
However, the special purpose of MLS is "to train students for
the public ministry of the gospel and to enroll them upon
graduation at Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN".

Association for Church Extension (LACE)
(LACE) is a nonprofit corporation serving
congregations of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS)
and the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) throughout the United
States. Its purpose is to provide congregations with
lower-cost loans for repayment of Church Extension Fund (CEF)
loans, new construction and/or improvements on church properties,
purchase of building sites, and miscellaneous furnishings used by
the congregation. LACE provides a channel through which
people can put their investments to work for the church. Investors
receive annual interest on their investments.
