As previously mentioned, we will also have hymnals available for you to purchase. To buy a hymnal, stop at one of the tables in the narthex after worship services this weekend. The cost of a hymnal is $25; payment can be made with cash (exact change is appreciated but not required) or a check (payable to St. John’s). New Bible Study

Beginning Sunday,
November 7

Given his personal situation, it seems hard to believe Philippians is Paul’s most upbeat letter. But it is. Radiating confidence, warmth, and joy, this short epistle reminds us that what we are and what we have transcends the inevitable stresses and strains that accompany our earthly pilgrimage. By his inspired words as well as his inspiring example, Paul helps us understand the difference between the temporary nature of happiness and the permanent state of joy. This is a letter for our times. Please join us at 9:15 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall for this study led by Pastor Joel Leyrer.
