Mornings with Mommy

Begins Thursday, December 5
Parents or caregivers are invited to bring their infants, toddlers, or preschoolers to this program at St. John’s School on Thursdays from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. The cost is $35/family for the 8-week session (no class on December 26 or January 2) or $5/week. Click here for more information or to register.

Voter's Meeting and Call for Nominations

Tuesday, November 26
The annual electoral voters’ meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Due to Mr. Nathan Schultz declining our call, we will also be issuing a principal call. All voters and interested parties are encouraged to attend. Congregation members are invited to suggest nominees for the following open positions: Boards of Elders (2 positions open), Education (2), Discipleship (4), Outreach (1), and Finance (1). Click here to submit nominations online or e-mail them to church president Jeff Scheibe. Parents' Night Out

Saturday, December 14
Parents, are you in need of a night out for shopping, dinner, or just a free night to finish things around the house? We can help by watching your children! Snacks and activities are provided, and a movie will wind down the night. Children can stay from 5:00 – 9:00 pm. or for just a portion of the evening. This event is free, but donations are gladly accepted to help fund the teen mission trips. Click here to register your children. By Scripture Alone 2020

Begins January 1
“What does this mean?” This most basic question forms the basis both for Martin Luther’s Small Catechism and for By Scripture Alone in 2020. Join us as we read through the Small Catechism and delve deeper into the teachings and heritage of our Lutheran faith – a faith that finds its basis in Scripture alone. Catechisms can be purchased from Pastor Eric Schroeder for $20 or ordered online here. Watch for more information and a reading schedule in the next several weeks. Please also think about inviting a family member or friend to participate!
