1. We've been given a unique opportunity to reach out to our community! The Canadian Pacific holiday train will be rolling through Wauwatosa on Friday, December 9, and we've been asked to sing Christmas carols while waiting for the train to arrive. Tuesdays, November 29 & December 6
We have two important congregational meetings coming up. On November 29, our voters will be issuing three teacher calls (two for the upper grades and one for K3). On December 6, we'll be electing congregational officers and Board members, acting on a recommendation from our Church Council regarding entering the Milwaukee and/or Wisconsin Parental Choice programs, and hearing an update on our campus expansion and capital campaign. Please plan to attend both of these meetings!

This weekend is the first Sunday in Advent, and that means a number of special worship opportunities! Our voters will be issuing two teacher calls to start in Fall 2023: an upper-grade math and technology teacher to replace Mr. Dave Leyrer and an upper-grade language arts teacher to replace Mrs. Christine Rindfleisch (who accepted a call to Peace Lutheran School in Hartford, WI, beginning in Fall 2023).

Beginning Sunday, November 13
Join us as we welcome Rev. Robert Fleischmann, National Director of Christian Life Resources, as he begins a study of “The Christian and Bioethics.” In this Bible study, we'll explore basic skills and understandings for how a Christian can approach the challenging implications of contemporary and future technologies that affect life and the family. By using instruction, examples, and discussion, we will look at ethical and bioethical trends through the lens of Scripture and the Christian faith. Click here for class materials and video.
