Advent by Candlelight 2015

On Sunday, December 6, St. John's held its 16th annual Advent by Candlelight program.  Advent by Candlelight offers women of all ages an opportunity to prepare their hearts for the Advent and upcoming Christmas seasons centered in God's Word.  This year's program, "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel," centered around the O Antiphons, a series of medieval chants and the basis for the well-known Advent hymn.  Through word and song, guests were reminded that Christ, our Messiah, has fulfilled all the petitions presented in the O Antiphons and will come again in glory on the last day.  Our thanks to all those who hosted tables and attended.  We pray that we have assisted in your Advent preparations!  Click here to view pictures from Advent by Candlelight.
