Food Pantry

We will kick off the New Year with our regular monthly donation to the Food Pantry at Christ Milwaukee. As the pandemic restrictions continue, your gifts are more and more necessary and appreciated by the families who rely on them. Please bring your gifts to the box in the narthex from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or anytime you are at church for worship. Monetary donations may be placed in the “Feeding America” box at any time. Please make checks payable to St. John’s.

By Scripture Alone

Since beginning By Scripture Alone in 2017, we've read through the entire Bible chronologically, have spent a year in the New Testament, and are working through the basic truths of the Lutheran faith as taught and explained in Martin Luther's Small Catechism. Next year, we're going back to reading through the entire Bible - but in a slightly different way. In 2021, By Scripture Alone will feature three daily readings: one from the Old Testament, one from the New Testament, and one from Psalms or another book of Wisdom Literature. Click here for more information and a reading schedule.
