New Bible Study

Beginning Sunday, January 9
Mental health awareness and mental health needs continue to rise. Does God’s Word speak to such challenges? The Christian counseling field is widely dominated by evangelical theology which some would argue leads to bad theology and bad psychology. Some within Lutheran circles have argued that the Lutheran voice has been far too faint in the psychological field. Leaning on the book Making Christian Counseling More Christ Centered by Dr. Rick Marrs, as well as other resources, this Bible study will give us an opportunity to discuss uniquely Lutheran theology and see its application to mental health challenges. Please join us at 9:15 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall for this study led by Pastor Greg Lyon from Wisconsin Lutheran College.

By Scripture Alone 2022

We received such good feedback on this year’s By Scripture Alone daily Bible reading plan that we're doing it again next year – but with a slight tweak. Our 2022 reading plan will still feature three different daily readings five days per week. However, the second half of our Old Testament readings will be arranged more chronologically to help you get an idea of how these books of prophecy fit into the historical events of Israel and Judah. Click here for a reading schedule or pick one up in the church narthex.
