Two Good Things That Happened in February

1. We celebrated our third annual Volunteer Appreciation Event on Sunday, February 16. As in past years, this is a special time to say "thank you" to our many volunteers - we couldn't do ministry without you! Enjoyable fellowship, good food, various door prizes, and no snow made this year's event a success.

2. We received two wonderful pieces of call news: Mr. Dave Leyrer returned his call to serve at Huron Valley Lutheran High School, and Mr. Dan Markgraf accepted his call to serve as principal at St. John's beginning next school year. We are so thankful for the service of these called workers!

Three Good Things That Will Happen in March

1. We will celebrate 25 years in the ministry for our teachers Mr. Dave & Mrs. Dana Leyrer on Sunday, March 15, at 11:30 a.m. Mr. Leyrer has served at St. John's since 1995 and Mrs. Leyrer since 2000. We pray for continued blessings on your ministry at St. John's!

2. We will host a blood drive on Tuesday, March 3, from 2:00 - 6:30 p.m. One blood donation can save up to three lives, and donations are particularly needed during the winter months. This is also a fantastic way to reach out to our community and welcome people to St. John's who might not normally be on our campus. Click here to sign up to donate.

3. Our students (and teachers!) will get some well-deserved downtime over spring break. You can expect campus to be quieter from March 23-27, but that doesn't mean the building will be empty! Our childcare will be open during spring break as usual.
