Tosa's Night Out

Wednesday, August 1 – St. John’s is once again manning the glowstick station in the evening for the flashlight walk at this popular event held at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Please contact Pastor Bitter  if you would like to assist at the St. John’s booth or on the flashlight walk. Register to get Zoo admission (including parking), a t-shirt, and sponsored items. The event includes community displays, exhibits, information, live entertainment and more. Food and refreshments will also be available. The event runs from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. but you are welcome to arrive at the Zoo any time after 9:00 a.m.

Tuition Registration

For the days of school registration (August 5-6), tuition registration will only be available on Monday, August 6. Avoid the long lines and complete the registration questionnaire by clicking the “2018-19 Tuition Registration” graphic here. A tuition coordinator will provide you with details of the items selected (i.e. books, hot lunch, teacher gift, etc.), establish your payment schedule/method, and answer any questions you may have. Individual meetings can also be scheduled by contacting Sharon Kieselhorst or 414-258-7831.

Rooted & Mowing Work Day

Tuesday, July 31 – Grab your garden gloves and join us for a few hours as we weed the gardens at church and school. We will be working from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Direct questions to Kurt and Kelly Kramer or 414-475-9071.

Military Care Package Drive

Through Friday, August 10 – St. John’s Childcare is hosting a care package drive to collect and distribute to friends and family members who are in the service. If you would like to contribute, you will find lists of suggested items on the bulletin board in the church narthex. Collection bins with a “Support Our Troops” sign will be placed in the church narthex as well as in the lower level of school by Childcare. Monetary donations to buy gift cards and to defray packaging and postage costs are also accepted. Questions may be directed to Childcare.

Food Pantry

Extended through this weekend – You may still contribute to the Food Pantry this weekend. Non-perishable foods may be placed in the bin in the church narthex. Monetary gifts are also appreciated. All donations benefit the food pantry at Christ Lutheran Church.
