Two Good Things That Happened in September

1. We hosted our first Third Thursday concert in a year and a half. Held on the third Thursday of each month from 12:15 - 1:00 p.m., these free concerts are a wonderful way to take a quick break from the busyness of your day and enjoy some fantastic music! Click here for a schedule of our upcoming fall concerts.

2. We previewed hymns and liturgy from the new hymnal. Christian Worship '21 will be arriving in our pews later this fall, and we're excited to begin introducing it to you! Watch for more information over the next couple of months, and click here for more information about the new hymnal.

One Good Thing That You Might Not Know About

1. Our sports teams now have their own YouTube channel!

Check out www.sjtosa.org/CrusaderTV for live game feeds, highlights, and more. If you can't make it to a game, this is a fantastic way to still cheer on your St. John's Crusaders!

New Hymnal Purchases

The new hymnal will be arriving later this fall, and Christian Worship ’21 is intended to be more than “just” a book to be used for an hour on Sunday mornings. Prayers and devotional material, new and old hymns – all of this makes Christian Worship ’21 the perfect resource to add to your own shelves at home. Watch for more information on purchasing a hymnal directly from St. John’s and saving on the cost of shipping. Please also consider contributing to the Council Project of the Month to help defray the cost of new hymnals; click here to donate.

New Pictorial Directory

It’s been a number of years since we last produced a St. John’s pictorial directory, and it’s time for a new one. This time, we’ll be using a password-protected online directory. All of the member data has been imported, and now it’s time for you to start checking your information (and editing it, if needed). You can also submit a family photo if you have one – and if you don’t have one, that’s OK too! You can still create your account, and we’ll be offering opportunities to have pictures taken later this fall. Click here for more details and login instructions.
