Giving Opportunities

Offerings are an expression of our love for the Lord and allow us to support various ministries:

  • Ministry to members of St. John's congregation and to the community
  • Christian education at St. John's Lutheran School and Wisconsin Lutheran High School
  • Mission ministry at home and abroad

Giving Opportunities at St. John's
Below is a variety of ways to support the Lord's work. Click the arrows for more details
    Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
  • GivePlust - Enroll in the secure electronic funds transfer program through VANCO. One-time or recurring donations can be scheduled to be withdrawn directly from either a checking or savings account. You may also enroll by completing this form and returning it to the church office. A secure lockbox is located on the wall across from the entrance to the narthex from the office. 


    Electronic Bill Pay - Many financial institutions offer this free, automatic service. You can authorize your bank or credit union to make recurring payments from your checking or savings account directly to St. John's. Payee information is as follows:  St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 7809 Harwood Ave. Wauwatosa, WI 53213,     (414) 258-7831. If applicable, please include your envelope number in the memo line.
    Debit/Credit Card

  • GivePlust - Enroll in the secure offerings program through VANCO. One-time or recurring donations can be scheduled using a debit/credit card.  

    PayPal - One-time or recurring donations using a debit or credit card can be made following the links below. A PayPal account is not required.

  • Give+Mobile - Download the FREE app, "GivePlus Church", on your Apple or Android phone using the App Store or Google Play. Search for St. John's Lutheran Church under zip code 53213. Select a fund and amount to give and provide your debit/credit card or checking/savings account information. Securely and conveniently manage donations using Touch ID/Fingerprint, PIN or password.

    Give+Text - Simply send a text message to (414) 246-8751 with the amount you would like to contribute (example: 25). You will be sent a text with a link for some simple registration steps required on your initial visit. For future giving, send a text with the amount you wish to give, and it will process automatically! You can even text “repeat” to make it a recurring donation.

    QR Code - Each of our service folders has a QR code embedded in the Offering section of the service. Scanning that code with a smartphone will direct you to Give+Online where one-time or recurring donations can be made to a variety of funds using debit/credit cards or direct withdrawals from checking/savings accounts (EFT).
    Cash/Checks
  • Cash/Checks - Cash and checks are always welcome! Forgot your envelope? Generic envelopes are available at the northern-most wall podium at the back of church. No envelope number is required - just your name.

    Scrip - Purchase gift cards at face value from a large selection of stores, restaurants and more. Scrip donates a designated percentage to St. John's Lutheran School with each card sold. To make a purchase or place an order, stop in the school office, register at www.shopwithscrip.com     (St. John's enrollment code is C5FB311729461) or send your order to the school office.
