Class Information
  • August 23, 2020 - Forgiveness – What It Is, What It Isn’t
The American Christian culture labels two different actions as “forgiveness.” We will examine the difference between the two, examining what Jesus teaches about forgiveness. Some parents, in good faith, taught us ideas which are not biblical and which were damaging to us. We will expose that false teaching so that it can purged from future Christian parenting. As we study, we will find clear application to our actions among a society wounded by COVID and damaged relationships.
  • August 30, 2020 - Life, Death, and the Gift of Faith
At a time when the fear of death looms over our society, it is valuable to see how God uses the words “live” and “die.” We will discover a root meaning which is always present, wherever these words are used, and we will apply this to our understanding of God’s gift of faith.
